The Church of the Advent is a Free Church in the Anglican Communion. The Congregation is one of many independent Episcopal Churches which were formed to ensure the continuation of historic Anglican Christianity in America. The need for these new churches arose because of changes in the fundamental faith and practices of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America (ECUSA). We are members of Forward in Faith and the Diocese of the Holy Cross.
